<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; background: white; mso-margin-top-alt: auto;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: navy; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: EN;" lang="EN">The Kent Air Ambulance Trust is a registered charity established in 1989 to relieve sick and injured people in South East England and surrounding areas by providing a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) and air ambulance service for the benefit of the community.<br /><br />Responding swiftly to 999 calls, the Kent Air Ambulance can deliver its highly skilled team of Doctors and Critical Care Paramedics to the scene of an accident or medical emergency within minutes. Flying fast, direct and unhindered at over 150mph the Kent Air Ambulance can reach any part of Kent within 15 minutes flying time and can transport patients to the most appropriate specialist unit or nearest major hospital in a fraction of the time taken by land ambulance.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; background: white; mso-margin-top-alt: auto;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: navy; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: EN;" lang="EN">Kent Air Ambulance is one of 18 independent Air Ambulance operators and </span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: navy; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;" lang="EN-US">receiving <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">no funding</span> </strong>from the National Lottery <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>the charity relies </strong><span style="color: #000080;">almost entirely upon the</span> <strong>generosity of the public</strong></span></span><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #000080; font-size: 10pt;"> to support the helicopter. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; background: white; mso-margin-top-alt: auto;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: navy; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: EN;" lang="EN">Every penny of the £1.7 million it costs each year to keep the life-saving helicopter in our skies 365 days a year comes from individuals, groups, businesses, companies and clubs from all over Kent.</span></p>

Starting and finishing at the base at Dunsfold Park on the Surrey/Sussex border. From the start at Dunsfold Park, we will head around a route that will take in all four of the counties they serve; Surrey, West and East Sussex and Kent, and back to Dunsfold Park (the route will pass via Cranleigh, Charlwood, Lingfield, Tunbridge Wells.</span></p>
