Following the very sad loss last year of our great friend and colleague Caroline Beaumont, Epsom Downs Racecourse have set-up an appeal fund in conjunction with Barts Charity - “Caroline’s Vision for Cancer” - a specific project to fight eye cancer through innovative research.  Caroline tragically lost her battle against eye cancer (which had metastasized into the liver) last November aged 35.

Caroline was a familiar figure in Epsom and her love of Epsom Downs, the local training yards and the whole racing industry (together with her beloved pony Blossom) were evident each and every day. 

Caroline certainly was an inspiration to all around her and a very brave young woman who lived life to the full.  She made a lasting impression on all those she met with a smile that lit up a room and a laugh that echoed all around

For those of you who knew Caroline, I know that you'll want to support this wonderful cause in her memory, and for those of you who didn't, but do know me, I hope you will make a donation, however big or small, to help beat cancer once and for all!
