Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Once again I am stepping out on the Century Cycle Challeange. 100 miles from Leicestershire to Brancaster, pushed along the way by my cousin Edward and this time, supported by the cycling legend, my sister Jane.  Writing this in February, so time to get training and harden my seat.

Jane’s prowess is based on dodging London taxi’s. She is used to avoiding the dreaded open driver’s door rather than the open road. Having not set foot on a bike in anger for nearly 10 years she is a bit apprehensive!  Training involves cycling to and from Buster & Brodie’s school after drop off – 5 miles round trip. But have to wait until the weather improves as a fair weather cycler!

The experience in the team comes from Edward, having spent many hours pounding the Fens to the North Norfolk coast and back.

This year, as well as supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust, we are also raising money for Walking With the Wounded.  At this moment four wounded solidiers are battling their way to the North Pole to raise awareness and funds for colleagues.
