On 1st August last year I moved from Harrogate to become lead evangelist in Church Army's new Gloucester & Forest Centre of Mission. Having now completed my Church Army training I was due to be commissioned as a Church Army Evangelist on 21st July but that's been delayed due to Covid-19. 

However, I would like to mark those dates by cycling (virtually on my exercise bike) the 190 miles / 300km from Harrogate to Gloucester to raise money for Church Army. 

Church Army works across the UK and Ireland, sharing the gospel of Jesus through words and action with all we meet - homeless people, those struggling with mental ill health, families who find there's too much month at the the end of their money, the vulnerable, then isolated and the marginalised. We believe that Jesus walks alongside us through our pain and our challenges and it's our joy to introduce people to the Him - not just in what we say but in how we live and how we love others.
