On Sunday 5 July we said our final goodbyes to a wonderful dad, husband, Ga Ga and friend - Andrew Michael Stanley.

Over the last year of his life Weston Hospicecare have been a tremendous support for our dad and our family. Providing much needed care, respite, emotional support and, believe it or not a bit of fun (dad loved the quizzes they did & the odd glass of wine!).

In the final few weeks they were particularly fantastic in caring for our dad, helping him & my mum celebrate their 39th wedding anniversary in the Hospice and making it possible for us all to spend a little time together (even in the current pandemic!).

They also supported my dad in making the journey back home for his final few days, allowing us all to hold his hand as we said our final goodbyes.

Unfortunately we aren’t able to give our dad the funeral we had expected due to the current guidelines. So for his many friends who aren’t able to celebrate his life with us, we have set up this page to enable you to share a message or make a donation to the Hospice in his name.
