The Arran Trust is a visitor gifting scheme, that aims to inspire our visitors to care for Arran’s natural environment through responsible tourism. We help to make the Isle of Arran tourism industry sustainable by creating ways for businesses and individuals to donate to conservation.

Story

Hello Everyone!

If you've ever been to Arran and enjoyed a beautiful forest or mountain footpath, taken in tourism attractions, been lucky enough to enjoy watching abundant marine life, bought local artists' wares, or glimpsed some lesser spotted wildlife then the chances are you are the beneficiary of the Arran Trust's work. If you love Arran, or just appreciate the notion of a special place being protected and developed in all its facets then sponsoring the Arran Trust should be on your radar.

After completing a 24 hour ultra marathon in 2022 I find myself gravitating towards the next big physical challenge. I've decided to take on the Ultra Tour of Arran. Two 30 mile days, back to back, all over the island's forests, mountains and coastline. With your help, I'd like to put the sweat of training, and the event itself, towards supporting the Arran Trust. My family and I have enjoyed Arran and all it has to offer for as long as I can remember - I'd like to pay something back to my favourite place.

From experience, I know that there will be some difficult moments during this race. Knowing that there is support in the form of donations to this great cause will surely get me through them.

If you love the Isle of Arran, as I do, please donate what you can!

**Make sure to scroll down to the blog below - there are a few rewards of offer for early supporters.**

Slainte!

Andy
