Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing this to show support to Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC).  Last year I had Testicular Cancer. Since the operation, I have been looked after by MVCC as an outpatient. I am fortunate enough to be under supervision and no further treatment (so far).

Every time I visit MVCC, I walk past various departments and see other patients having different  treatment.  I get an overwhelming  sense of guilt because I was lucky enough not to have any further treatment and all those I saw wasn't.  That is why I am doing this.  I am doing something for all those who are unable to do this because they need treatment.

I chose the Pathfinder March because in my eyes, covering 46 miles in less than 20 hours is a hard journey for any normal person.  People under going Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy are going through a hard journey themselves.

If you could take a walk through MVCC in my shoes, you will see why I am  fundraising.
