Walk the Refugee Route from Greece to Skopje · 29 April 2018 ·

Across Europe, people on the move face an increasingly hostile environment, often after a traumatic journey. Refugee Support's pioneering Dignity Centres provide a safe, welcoming space where people on the move can choose food and hygiene items, just like a normal shopping experience.

Story

The brilliant work in the refugee camps in Greece is almost over, as Refugee Support moves on to help with the humanitarian crisis caused for the dispossessed and terrorised Rohingya people on the Eastern Bangladesh/Myanmar border. See https://youtu.be/DkUeRDLDANo

Your donation gives refugee women, children (often alone), or whole families something extra – a little of their dignity back.Your donation will provide them with fresh and enjoyable food, much needed clothing and important activities to help them now and in their futures. But *how* we do things is just as important as *what* we do. We do it in a way that puts dignity and normality first. As a small and independent charity, all of your donation goes where it is most needed. And it gets there quickly. We're also committed to supporting the local, host community.

No Refugee Support volunteers receive any payment, and cover all their own accommodation and travel costs.
