As you are all aware my 22 month old son was born with this birth injury,due to his weight and the fact that the widwives and doctors are not trained well enough in this.

The Erbs palsy group are a fantastic charity who advise families on everything from claiming dla or how to start legal proceedings,aswell as training midwifery staff,and also arranging fun days for the children.I have found their advice to be invaluable as have many families.

My son Cameron had shoulder relocation surgery and nerve and tendon transfer surgery,and his arm will never be right,he also was unlucky in that they dislocated his shoulder at birth and doctors took 7 months to discover this.
