My biggest passion is to help the plight of ex battery hens, we have 5 of our own at the moment and the only thing stopping us from having more is space. Like most people that choose to open their hearts to giving these lovely ladies a happy retirement is the need to do more. So this is my way of helping the BHWT raise money to be able to help more hens in need of the chance to be happy, loved chickens that get the chance to do the things that they have been deprived of, such as stretching their wings, digging for worms, taking a dust bath and feeling the sun on their backs.
