On Saturday 17th April I am going to abseil down the Raigmore Chimney in aid of Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.  It's 185 feet high and I have never abseiled before so it's all new to me but I thought why not, it's something different.

I also have a sponsor sheet and at the last count on Saturday 15th May my total was £1,491!!

I have now been allocated a time - estimated abseil time is 12:00. Feel free to come along and support me, oh and my mother who will be panicking at the bottom of the chimney!! :)

I have now completed my challenge, and what a challenge those ladders on the inside were....the abseil was the easy part!!  It was an amazing experience and had no nerves throughout the whole thing.  Did scream a couple of times but the wind was blowing me round the chimney and leaving me dangling in mid-air!

I thought at the start (4 weeks ago) that if i managed to raise £500 I would be doing pretty well but thanks to everyones generosity, I have mananged to raise over £1,500!!!  Thanks so much to everyone who sponsored me, I am very gratefull and so will Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland!! :)
