Anyone who knows me will know that I love my nephews Euan (2) and Ryan (6) with all my heart and that i would do absolutely anything for them to keep them safe and happy.  So my world was turned upside down earlier this year.

When Euan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the end of April 2013 I thought my heart would break.  He has this terrible disease that causes him so much pain,fear and sickness that watching him suffer is like a step into hell.

Euan spent an initial 6 weeks in hospital where he was very, very ill and as a family we had some very dark days. He still has 3 years of chemotherapy to deal with and that is devastating.  He is currently back in hospital due to the severity of the intense chemotherapy he has received.

I am running/walking the 10k on October 6th to show my gratitude to Clic Sergeant as one of their workers introduced themself early on in Euan's treatment and offered kindness and support.
