This year at Northern Ireland Children's Hospice we cared for over 370 children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, in both our inpatient unit - Horizon House and in the local community. We rely on your generous donations to continue to fund our vital services.

Story

I'm sure you think I'm crazy and honestly you might be right.....but sometimes you just gotta get off your butt and do something a bit 'off the wall'! So here goes - I'm attempting a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Dec 27th - 3rd Jan with my old school chum Sue Vyvyan Day (Susan James).

Having decided on this adventure / challenge / experience of a lifetime, I decided to raise some money at the same time for a cause that's very close to my heart - childhood cancer.

My beautiful young brother Jim died many years ago from a condition known as Retinablastoma, he lived for just 2 and half years, but he blessed our lives and he and my parents and family were heros!! In a very small way, this is a chance for me to raise some funds to help children and families in a similar situation and to honour the memory of a very special 'wee man' my brother Jim, loved always, never forgotten.
