I have been a volunteer with Hope 4 Rugby for over 7 years.  At Hope 4 we have a referral only day centre where we provide hot meals, showers, laundry facilities access to a telephone and the internet as well as company, understanding and support.  From 1st December to the 1st March we open our Winter Shelter, providing our guests with a warm bed.  Without the Winter Shelter many of our guests would be sleeping rough. Three evenings a week we have an open door facility for anyone who has a need. Although some of our evening guests have homes they struggle in many different ways. If someone is struggling financially or in need of companionship, friendship or support they are welcome to come along and we will always help in any way we can. A person can become homeless through not fault of their own and for some Hope 4 can be their only support.  Some guests look upon us as family.
The work we do at Hope 4 is very rewarding and there is nothing better than knowing that you have been able to help someone and make a difference.
