As we reached our first target for one borehole we have decided to try and raise money for a second  borehole. Please help us make this possible.

Earlier this year we lost our beautiful Zohra foi. Loved by many and so special to us all. We have been wanting to build a borehole in Malawi to help the disadvantaged and to keep her memory alive and our grandparents. So we have decided to run the Leicester half marathon in October to raise money for this worthy cause.

We are not experienced runners and don’t do any sort of training so this is a huge challenge for us.

Please help us reach our target and keep our foi and grandparents in your prayers. May we all benefit from this and may this be sadaqah jariyah for us all.

Additionally, lack of water access has a great negative social impact on women and children who bear the primary responsibility to gather water for the families. This leads to less time spent on education, farming, family responsibility amongst many factors.
