Well I'm doing it again! Last year I did the half mile event at the Great Scottish swim and enjoyed it so much that this year I thought I'd challenge myself to the mile event. Not only that I'm taking part in the Lake Windermere cross lake swim just a few weeks later!

I love being outdoors in the water but I'm not that fast so this year I have well and truly got off my backside and thrown myself in to some proper training. So most days i'm in the pool, circiut training, out in my local loch or on my bike. Rarely a day goes by without one part or another of my body being achy and sorebut I'm sure it'll all be worth it!
