Story

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my fundraising page!

This summer, as part of Warwick RAG (raising and giving) society I will be volunteering in Uganda with the charity East African Playground for 3 weeks. The charity does amazing work in believing that children need play activities alongside their education in order to reach their full potential and development. Therefore, our volunteer work will include building a playground for a school in Uganda who desperately needs one. As well as this, we will be volunteering in helping teach the children sport and arts activities to enrich their learning and most importantly allowing them to have fun! East African Playgrounds is a charity that envisages a world where all children have access to areas where they can explore, learn, develop and play and I am thankful for the opportunity to help them achieve these goals.

In order to help the charity continue this fantastic work and in order to fund our playground project in Uganda each volunteer has been asked to fundraise as much as possible before their trip. If you could donate anything towards my project it would be appreciated so much as every penny is invaluable.
