I am swimming 1 MILE in Lake Windermere for the FAB charity Cystic Fybrosis Trust. IT IS GOING TO BE THE HARDEST THING I'VE DONE SO FAR! I am a good pool swimmer, but put me in a lake with no floor or walls & I do NOT like it!!! So, this is worth your money - I can't even imagine swimming a mile in open water, but.... I promise I will do it, this once on SEPT 12th for this charity. A lot of you will already know that a family very close to Mark & my hearts have been seriously affected by Cystic Fybrosis, yet they do not let it affect their quality of life at all. I am doing this swim in honour of them and I hope to get just a fraction of their determination on the day to complete the swim.
