September 2014: diagnosed with Lupus! Never heard of it! Oh how I quickly started to learn, although I learn new things everyday!

I am extremely light sensitive so have to cover my skin at all times to protect myself, use factor 50 suncream just to try to protect the skin rashes I suffer, blistering of my skin! I had to totally change the way I dressed, ensuring my body was totally covered when going outside! Wearing hats & scarfs was a new thing for me. Feeling self conscious about my appearance I battled on.

Everyday is a battle in a variety of ways, hopefully I can add more information & explain my journey with Lupus on this page.
