This summer Anna Lawrence and Sarah Tayleur are traveling to East Africa to help build a playground with a charity aptly named East African Playgrounds.

Before we go, we need to raise money to go towards the building of the playground. It is a really worthwhile cause, as is stated in their aim; that every child has the right "to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child”.  What's also really lovely about this charity is that our work will continue to benefit the community and lives of children even after we are gone which we think is extremely important for sustainable charity.

We will be holding some events to help fundraise, and we will keep you posted about these, so watch this space! In the meantime, if you would like to make a donation it will be much appreciated. We have been asked to raise £1200, but being ever the optimists, we are aiming for £1500!
