I will be volunteering for 3 months in Sierra Leone. I will be leaving on Janury 20th.

I will be working on a youth development and empowerment programme, for example, working with youths and children in the local community, in schools and areas of poverty.

Your donations will go towards supporting the work of VSO through enabling young people from the UK and overseas developing countries to work on placements that will make a lasting difference on impoverished communities around the world.

 ICS is a government funded programme which means all my expenses (for example flights, accommodation, visas and insurance) are paid for by the Department for International Development. This means ALL the fundraising goes straight to the charity to help those in less privileged countries.
