Ewen MacKenzie is raising money for Deafblind Scotland
In memory of Anna MacKenzie
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
People who are deafblind have substantial visual and hearing loss which causes extreme difficulty with communication, information and mobility. We aim to raise aspirations and expand the lives of Deafblind people, some of the least visible and most isolated members of society.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Anna's JustGiving page.

Sadly, Mum passed away on Mon 22 Jan 2018, peacefully. In the latter years of her life, she suffered from Macular Degeneration and was registered blind. Deafblind Scotland provided a fantastic guide service which allowed Mum to attend appointments outside her home. The guides are volunteers, and dedicated to help improving the lives of blind (and deaf) people in Scotland.

The MacKenzie family would prefer donations to Deafblind Scotland instead of flowers to Mum's funeral on Fri 9 February at 12:30 at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Blantyre, Scotland.
