Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

I will be running for Alzheimer Scotland. I knew I wanted to run for a charity and when it came down to choosing one, Alzheimer Scotland was the one I felt most strongly about.

Dealing with dementia and alzheimers is straining, difficult and heartbreaking, and anything that can help to alleviate the difficulties and provide support for those who care for a relative with dementia surely deserves a little something. Alzeheimer Scotland can provide that support: £50 can fund a day of respite care or £100 can help towards a bath lift so that a loved one can be cared for at home for as long as possible.
