Story

For years, I have wanted to walk the ancient pilgrimage route from Roncesvalles in France to the shrine of Saint James at Santiago de Compostela in Spain.  I started on March 31st, and hope to reach Santiago on May 5th.  I would like to use this walk as a way of helping the suffering children of Syria - children who are displaced, or injured, or bereaved, or traumatised, because of the war there.  The charity Save the Children has a special Syria Appeal, so please sponsor me as a way of helping them in their valuable work. (This page has been set up by my sister Frances on my behalf.)
