I am running 10km in the Diacore Marathon in Gaborone, Botswana on Sunday 22 March 2015 to raise money for the Freedom From Fistula Foundation.

The Foundation helps provide life-transforming surgery for women in Africa whose bodies have been broken by childbirth and obstetric fistula. The Foundation's vision is for all women in Africa to have access to healthcare during pregnancy and childbirth and to help eradicate obstetric fistulas.

This is a cause close to my heart as I suffered from a double fistula following the birth of my son, Sam. I was fortunate enough to have the best medical care available to me but it was still a long, hard road to recovery. 

I am aiming to raise £1,500 which will cover the cost of life changing surgery for 5 women in Africa. Please consider sponsoring me and making a donation. The women we will be helping are like you - mothers, daughters, sisters, cousins, wives, aunts, nieces....
