Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So as a joke my sister, Rainey, secretly entered me into the London marathon and lucky me I got in first time!

After the initial shock, I decided to just go for it and use my place to raise vital funds for Sense.

They provide services for people who are deafblind and those with a sensory impairment. Their main aim is to create a world in which all deafblind children and adults can be full and active members of society.

Now I have done running before but I definitely wouldn't call myself a runner so any donations no matter how small will keep me going on the cold dark winter nights when my training kicks in.
