I am going to take part in a 10k stroll in Windsor Great Park on Saturday in recognition of the care and compassion that was given to us as a family when Martin died on 12th February 2020. The hospice became our home and my grand daughter loved finding the toy box and visiting grandad there. We cannot thank everyone concerned enough for their help. Martin was able to die with dignity and the staff made everything so much easier for us. Martin sent a photo of the view of the gardens from his room a few days before he died and added this comment, “Lovely way to end in my private suite....” I think that says it all.
