Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  We are both running in the British 10K London Run on Sunday 10th July for Motor Neurone and we'd really appreciate your support.

We are fundraising for the Motor Neurone Disease Association because Anne's mum and aunt both died of this awful disease several years ago.  MNDA provided invaluable equipment, support and advice and we have supported MNDA ever since.

MND is a progressive disease that weakens and wastes your muscles resulting in loss of mobility, difficulties with speech swallowing and ultimately breathing. In the UK, 1,800 people are diagnosed with MND every year, there is no known cure and half die within 14 months of diagnosis.  MNDA funds research and helps people with the disease with the care and support they need.
