Story

Luke died suddenly and unexpectedly on 29th August 2020, he was only 36. A kind, caring, thoughtful, generous brother, uncle and son, he was quirky and funny and great to have around. He was enthusiastic about all that he did,  and if he didn’t get it right first time, phone and You-tube in hand, he’d carry on until he did.

Even though he was a cider man and didn’t have much of a taste for real ale, he loved being part of CAMRA - the people , the beer festivals and, of course, the organisation of the Chelmsford Summer Beer Festival!

He cared greatly about others and valued his many friends. He really enjoyed his work with young people, and found his niche in working with those who had additional needs.

It is for that reason we would like to celebrate his life  by asking for donations in his memory to be made to Families InFocus, a parent led  charity providing holistic support to families of children with disabilities and special needs (aged 0 to 25) across Essex, who require advice, information and support, particularly at times of change, challenge and crisis.
