St Mark's do pioneering, life saving work for people with Bowel disease. I was referred to St Mark's after my bowel cancer returned and became complex, too complex for my local hospital, I was then 38. I've just had my big 40th Birthday, a day I didn't think I'd ever see but I have and it's all thanks to St Mark's, Mr Antoniou, Hugh, Claire and the rest of the team. ❤

I've done a few charity events for Bowel Cancer UK since my first diagnosis in 2017 and this year, my focus is raising funds for the people who saved my life. I am a keen runner but I wanted to do something a bit different and I've taken to Up-Cycling what some might deem as junk, to make it beautiful again. I find painting very relaxing and it focuses my mind away from the worry of cancer. I've nearly painted everything in my home and now my children and husband are worried that if they stand still long enough they'll turn dusky blush too 😆.
