On 23rd October 2019, I lost my mum, Anne-Marie, in the most sudden and devastating way. She was my best friend and the best mum I could ever have wished for. She was also the proudest granny to our gorgeous baby girl Lila- she was by my side when we welcomed her into the world in June and I am forever grateful for all of the memories we have of them together. 

As a family, we have a close connection to Heartlink and would like to honour mum’s memory by raising money for them instead of flowers for her funeral. Whilst nothing will bring back my darling mum, knowing any money raised will go to help children in need in Leicestershire gives me lots of comfort at this very difficult time.
