Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In what may well be a moment of madness, I've agreed to abseil down Battersea Power Station on Sunday 26th September, to raise money for the Mines Advisory Group (MAG). It's a unique opportunity to see one of London's most iconic buildings from a VERY different perspective, and I'm sure that it will be one of those experiences I remember for the rest of my life. I've persuaded my business partner, Phil, to join me, and we're hoping to raise a minimum of £500 for our efforts. If anyone lives locally to Battersea and would like to come and cheer us on, please feel free to do so. Preferably with Green & Blacks to thrust into my hand as I plant my feet on the ground at the bottom!!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you!!!

About the charity

Every single day, 15 people are killed or injured because of landmines and other explosive weapons. Half of all civilian casualties are children. MAG finds and destroys these weapons to save lives and rebuild futures; helping people to grow crops, attend school and build homes.
