We support people living with a life limiting illness, & their families, helping them maintain independence & dignity. We believe everyone should have access to the best care at the end of their lives. To achieve this, our expert team work in people’s homes & at the Hospice to offer specialist care.

Story

On 14th December 2022, it will be 10 years since we lost Anne Greenwood. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Nan to us all. Springhill Hospice helped us all immensely during her last couple of months, and we want to show how much we appreciate them!

We will each be taking on a month and completing a personal challenge to fundraise for Springhill Hospice!

Below is a list of who is tackling their challenge on what month:

December- Adam Greenwood- Running 15 Miles a week✅

January- Adele Butterworth-10,000 steps a day and Dry January

February- Dom Greenwood- Running 5K a day

March- Team Bunnell- 100 Miles in March ✅

April- Robyn Lord + Joe Greenwood-  Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge (17th April)✅

May- Alan Pilling & Paige Greenwood- Snowdon Summit Challenge (7th May) 

June- Ethan Greenwood- Running 150k in the month of June

July- Michelle Greenwood- Ben Nevis Challenge

August- Jane Butterworth- 1344 lengths of Whitworth
Baths- Equvilent to crossing the English Channel! 

September- Tom Butterworth + Georgia Davison- Cycling (at the gym) the straight line distance between Lands End and John 'Groats- Equivalent to 603 miles! 

October- Ste Greenwood- Cycle Blackpool tower to Sportsman pub. Approximately 50 miles! 

November- Ste Butterworth- Cycling/Walking 150 miles throughout the month of November 

December- Everyone

Springhill passionately believe that everyone should have access to the best care at the end of their lives. To help achieve this, Springhill's expert team work night and day in people’s homes and at the Hospice to offer specialist care. Springhill also support people emotionally, provide practical information & help them maintain their independence and dignity.
