Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Working as a Veterinarian with VetsNow, we work along side the PDSA and see many of their clients out of hours. Their staff work very hard to help treat injured and sick animals when their client cannot afford veterinary treatment.
I have volunteered as a veterinarian with the PDSA a few months back, so I am very aware that in order to ensure that the PDSA service is maintained we should all look for ways, big or small, to support the funding of PDSA.
My way of doing this is running the Great North Run on the 11th of september in Newcastle. The people who know me know that I have never ran more than 10km, so to sign up to run 21.1KM is a huge deal for me! Im not going to lie, its a pretty daunting step. I have set this as my personal challenge of completing the Great north run 2016 as well as use this opportunity to raise some funds for charity PDSA.
If it wasn't for the PDSA many people would be without their animal companions or they would be struggling financially should one of their pets take a turn for the worse. With the increasing number of Pets in need of help, the PDSA is reliant on the support of everyone to say afloat. Therefore please Donate, big or small, to help the animals that need veterinary help.
