We assist the Diocese of the Rift Valley, in education, health and development. Our projects for 2024 are: 1) To update our anaesthetics machine. This will attract specialist surgeons, making more surgeries possible and surgery safer. 2) To replace mattresses for students at St John's.

Story

Hi Everyone,

This year I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon in aid of the Kilimatinde Trust which assists the poorest region of Tanzania with education health and development. Infant mortality in tanzania is currently 5% and life expectancy is just 60 years- and I won't go on about all the facts and figures on water supply, education and poverty, but when you consider what we have, a small amount can make such a difference.

In summer 2015 I will be spending 8 weeks working in Kilimatinde Hospital and seeing the good work that all the money fund raised has done for the hospital and the village! It will be good to not only help them with education and assistance but also through fundraising as much as possible for the trust!

Shin splints are probable, and my love for ben and jerrys probably wont help the journey, but i'm dedicated to doing what I can for a cause I believe in! I know many of you have supported me in the past with lots of charitable events, but anything you can give will be so greatly appreciated!
