Story
The three of us (Annie, Mia, Becky/Barry) are running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 6 October 2013 to raise money for Great Ormond Street (GOSH). We have pledged to raise £1,050 and would be grateful for any donations, no matter how small…”every little helps”!.
Most people reading this page have never been admitted to hospital never mind had an overnight stay, but for most children admited to GOSH, this is their second home. GOSH saves lives, develops new treatments, provides state of the art facilities whilst providing a second home with strength and support to the remarkable children and their families which otherwise would not be affordable on the NHS.
Here’s how your donation would help:
£100 could pay for 10 nights upkeep for one of our parent accommodation rooms. When children are poorly, they just want to be close to mum and dad.
£360 could pay for three flowmeters, helping to regulate the flow of oxygen and air to babies and children.
£798 could pay for a wheelchair and its accessories.
£2,315 could pay for pain relief syringe pumps. They provide continuous pain relief medication to the children in cardiac intensive care.
Please dig deep, donate and help us exceed our target.
Thank you.
Annie, Mia, Becky/Barry
