We want to use this challenge to highlight what an *incredible* job teachers and other school staff are doing during this pandemic. We also want to raise money to support schools to continue this vital work.
Friday 30th April would have been Captain Tom's 101st birthday. To remember him and his amazing fundraising we'll be writing 100 thank you cards this weekend. This will be a pretty big challenge for Noah as writing is not his favourite thing!! Your support will *really* help spur him on :)
In the last 18 months children have not only missed out on a year of normal schooling; they’ve lost a year of playing with friends and being with family. They’ve missed out on sports, on spending time at clubs, on volunteering and performing.
Before COVID-19 young people from poorer communities only had half the chance of getting good grades at school. Now the odds are even tougher.
The most disadvantaged children now need the most help to make sure they’re not left even further behind. And schools will be working on this for not just months but for years to come. Your support means that Teach First can be with them every step of the way.
