Dorset mud run

Our lives changed on August 14th 2021 when Elsie had her first seizure.. but they changed for the worse, forever, on September 22nd 2021.
Elsie is our daughter, she was just over 13 months old. She started having seizures mid August and was shortly after diagnosed with epilepsy, however little did we know it was not epilepsy and in fact she had a non cancerous brain tumour which was causing her to have vacant episodes with seizures.
We were in hospital again for her epilepsy and it was only when I woke to her unconscious that we found out, our baby girl had been battling a brain tumour (they believe pretty much her whole life). Elsie was transferred to Southampton Hospital for surgery to try and relieve the pressure the tumour had caused on her brain.
At some point during this admission I remember being told that Elsie most definitely would be blind in her left eye... I generally thought this was the worse news and how could my poor baby girl cope.. Ben and I were both beside ourselves as the consultant sat in front of us and told us the damage the tumour her caused. At this point, we didn't know that we would never be able to guide and support Elsie through her life.
Five long, dark and hard days later the worse day of our lives came and Elsie's life support was turned off while Ben and I were holding her so tight, telling her she was in the safest hands (her auntie Jodi).
Elsie's Rose is to support bereaved parents like us.. its to help them feel less alone in the darkest days they will ever experience!!
Please help us support them and lets make Elsie's rose something to talk about - because our girl Elsie is constantly talked about and we never want her to be forgotten. Lets help Elsie make a difference!!
