This page is for Ansuya Shah,

She passed away very suddenly on boxing day 2015. She leaves behind a husband, two sons, two daughter in laws, and two grandchildren.

She had been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, but very recently found out she had contracted secondary cancer. We, her family, miss her very much, and would ask that if you are considering buying flowers that you instead contribute to One Cause.

One Cause is a charity with a simple aim of dedicating itself to improving the lives of communities around the world through education. 

Ansuya started her first job as a teacher and education was very dear to her. She sat with her nephews, nieces, and children from her neighborhood and taught them basic maths and English up to a high school level. And this is why we believe that Ansuya would like donations to go to the One Cause Charity.

One Cause currently has two major projects:

1. Nirvana School, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, India

2. Auro Technical School, Lyoriang, Tororo, Uganda
