Hi,
You will be pleased to here I successfully completed the Loch Ness Marathon in a time of 3 hours 20 minutes 54 seconds. The plan was to go sub 3:30 so I am quite pleased with myself.
The whole day was great with sun shine, blue skies and little wind. It was not without its ups and downs however, when you here people talking about hitting the wall, mine came quite literally at 18 miles when the route climbed a steady hill for about 2.5 miles!!! The final 6 miles was quite a battle.
See my run here.
Thanks again to all those who donated.
Anthony
Hi,
Myself and Tessera are running the Loch Ness Marathon on the 4th October 2009. Its the first marathon either of us has ever done so we are not entirely sure what will happen!
My sister in laws niece, Claire, was diagnosed with cancer in April of last year and has been receiving treatment at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh. They receive funding from
Teenage Cancer Trust which is the charity I have chosen to raise money for.
Tess is running for a different charity, please don't feel you have to sponsor us both but you can find her page here:
Tessera's sponsor page.
The 26.2 mile course (thats 42.2 km) goes straight down one side of Loch Ness finishing in Inverness.
You can see the route here

Please remember any amount donated is appreciated.
Many Thanks
