Event: Chicago Marathon
We help children who've lost someone close to access opportunities for the future

Story

A few years ago I started supporting the PC Nicola Hughes memorial fund. I along with other runners sign up and complete  Marathons. My story began when I completed the NYC Marathon. This was supposed to be my last Marathon but the event totally inspired me so in 2021 I completed the Berlin Marathon. This year we move to Chicago so in October 2022 I hope to complete the Chicago Marathon. The charity was set up following the horrific events in Manchester 2012, when two female officers PC Nicola Hughes and PC Fiona Bone were murdered whilst carrying out there duties.

The charity is there to provide hope and support to families that have been subjected to equally traumatic and tragic events. We run to raise money for the families to help them in the aftermath of such tragedy.

Your donations no matter how small help make a real difference to the People we support.

I am fortunate because I am able to support a great charity and I run because it’s what I love to do. I pay for all my accommodation, flights and race entries but I race in the charity’s name to try and fundraise. If you are able to help and sponsor me no matter how small please click on the link and donate.
