Reevesy is running a Half Marathon!

Anthony Nolan is a charity very close to my heart. As a thirteen year old I was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumour and spent a year in and out of hospital receiving radio and chemotherapy. In this time I made several friends who benefitted from the work of the Anthony Nolan Trust. Sadly some others cannot be with us today.
Every day Anthony Nolan match remarkable individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells to people who desperately need lifesaving transplants. By taking on this challenge and raising vital funds for Anthony Nolan we are helping to save the lives of people with blood cancers such as leukaemia.
Just £7 will pay for the cost of a "spit kit" for taking a potential donors saliva sample for tissue-typing. This is the first important stage of joining Anthony Nolan's register. The more funds they have, the more lives they can save.
Of course, if you are interested in becoming a remarkable individual go to www.anthonynolan.org for information.
