Firstly, thanks for clicking on the link to open this page. I've decided to run a half marathon on the the 16th September in aid of those who sleep on the streets every night.

Most of us are fortunate enough to have support from family and friends when things get rough but for some there's no alternative but to hit the streets.

The average homeless man in the UK has a life expectancy of 47. For women this is even lower at 43. Just to put this into perspsective, the life expectancy in the UK is 77.

I've been training for the past 5 weeks and will keep pushing myself.
