I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise funds to support the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre. The LJMC provides a service that supports patients and their families and helps them cope with all aspects of the disease from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.

My Aunt Lynda died from cancer in March 1992, and the centre, the first of its kind at the time opened in June 1993.
