The Sandwell Steelers American Football Club have announced the Buddy Bag Foundation as its Charity partner for the 2017 season. As the Chairman, a Coach and a Player for the Club, I will be shaving my head in a few weeks time to kickoff the years fundraising, whilst simultaneously contributing to TWO fantastic causes. 

Throughout the year, 20% of all money fundraised by the Sandwell Steelers will be donated to the BBF, however, for the head shave ALL money raised will be donated directly to the BBF, and my hair (measuring 22") will be donated to the Little Princess Trust.

I began growing my hair when I was 13 years old, 14 years on I am taking the plunge and will soon have to begin wearing woolly hats again. Given that everyone else in my family is bald, there stands a very good chance it won't grow back. I would greatly appreciate any donation, small or large.

I will be raising money until the 12th March, and on the 13th I will have it shaved. In the interests of keeping the hair in good condition to send to the Little Princess Trust, It will be cut off at my local hairdressers.
