Gowns For The Royal Marsden

We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

The Royal Marsden requested help with the supply of 3000 washable hospital gowns.  This was to give them a sustainable supply of gowns, by allowing them to launder them onsite saving the need for more disposable PPE. Also saving landfill.

Through your enormous generosity, we have managed to fully sponsor and order the 3000 gowns but we have also managed to fully sponsor and order another 3000 gowns for St Georges Hospital too.

Any excess funds will be donated to the *Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.  Having missed so many fundraising activities during this crisis, their need for funding is great so please don't stop donating.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated to this campaign. Both the Royal Marsden and St Georges are so very grateful. And for those of you who donated anonymously, I am sorry not to be able to thank  you personally but thank you very much indeed.

My thanks also to so many who helped with this campaign:

Nick Beighton & Simon Platt from ASOS & Caroline Rush for their advice, Jenny Holloway & Caroline Ash who are making these gowns in Haringey, London with fabric from Carrington Textiles in Lancashire and Antonia Dalmohoy from the Royal Marsden for being a star and Team AH for their support.
