Story

Brain Injury Matters is a charity dedicated to supporting people like me who have an acquired brain injury.

Two years ago I was in a serious car accident.  The doctors said I may never open my eyes again and if I did I would probably remain in a vegetative state for the rest of my life. I was in a coma for 5 weeks but since then I have learnt to walk again, to ride my bike and to ride a horse. I am working on finishing my degree soon.

Brain Injury Matters have supported me through their sports, social and creative programmes.  However all of this costs money.  I want to raise as much money as I can to help as many people like me who need help of this service.

Never did I think that I would need help like this but I am so thankful and grateful for it.  I can't say I'm looking forward to this but . . . . .please give whatever you can afford to this fund-raising event.
