Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit Aon Birmingham's JustGiving page, in support of the Sutton Cancer Support Centre.

The Cancer Support Centre Sutton Coldfield was founded as a charity in 2001 to support cancer patients in the Midlands.

Since then the numbers attending the Centre have continued to increase year on year. The Centre's mission has remained aligned to the original goals we aim to provide a place of sanctuary and support for adults whose lives are affected by cancer.

Their services include workshops and courses which aim to equip people to help themselves to cope with the impacts of cancer. Things like the emotions, the stress, the inability to sleep well or relax and manage pain. Some activities are therapeutic others are social but the friendships and support that develop between people that join us are priceless.

About the charity

The Centre - a place of sanctuary and support for adults affected by cancer. Working alongside the hospitals, we look after the mind and the spirit – the emotional and psychological support that is really important to managing and coping and being the best you can whatever the situation or prognosis
