The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Story

In California, many people fled their homes with only a few minutes notice and are now finding safe shelter, food and comfort at Red Cross evacuation shelters. In Sonoma County, 180,000 people have been forced to evacuate – making it the largest mass evacuation in the county’s history. The Red Cross is providing care for evacuated pets and animals too; people can rest assured knowing their furry loved ones are also safe. Please consider helping us to help the people affected by these fires with a financial donation. Thank you.
