Land's End to Home (just under 200 miles) · 17 February 2013
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
When my brother was diagnosed with leukaemia I was obviously very upset and it definitely didn't help with him having to stay in Bristol Children’s Hospital for 5 weeks! Fortunately for us we were granted use of CLIC house which was less than a 10 minute walk from hospital. This meant that I had somewhere to stay at weekends rather than only being able to see him for one day then having to travel home (which would have entailed 3.5 hours of travelling for each visit). However this comes at a cost to CLIC, as supporting the average family through the treatment costs over £4000.
By the time that I have finished my training we estimate that I will have cycled over a thousand miles. My Dad has also decided to do the sponsored cycle and so if you don’t want to support me perhaps you could make a donation for him. I think he’ll need all the help he can get!
We now have a team of cyclists riding this trip for Max's CLIC Sargent fund and helping Dad and I on our way both physically and emotionally. Please dig deep and donate now.
